The Artisan Village is envisioned as a place where creativity can flourish without commercial pressure. Artisans may one day have rent-free creative spaces, keep 100% of their earnings, and choose how they wish to participate, whether by creating, demonstrating, teaching, sharing, showcasing, or selling their work.
We imagine a diverse community of makers working in spinning, weaving, natural dyeing, basketry, herbalism, woodworking, pottery, fiber arts, metalwork, leatherwork, painting, sculpture, and emerging creative forms, where tradition, innovation, and intergenerational learning can live side by side.
